U-14 v Ahorey

Knocknamuckley played their first knock-out match of the competition so far, after they received a bye in the quarter final, which paired them against Ahorey for a place in the decider, to be played at Mourneview Park.

Knocknamuckley had disposed of Ahorey 5-0 in the group stages, and hoped for a similar result again, to prevent them suffering the same fate as their U-18 counterparts did the previous week against Ahorey.

This was a fine victory for the young Muckley side, who will now meet 1st Lurgan in the final on the 19th April. This is the first time that they have reached the final of this competition and now have a huge chance to put their names on the trophy for the first time, and bring some silverware back to Knocknamuckley.
