Northern Ireland Golf Competition

The golf competition again took place at Ballymena Golf Club, with boys from companies across Northern Ireland competing. The competition was divided into two parts, with boys with handicaps and boys without handicaps competing separately. The Stableford scoring system was used. This involves adjusting the par for every hole depending upon your handicap, and then operates on a points system, were u receive points based upon how well you do relative to the adjusted par, with one point awarded for finishing with a stroke over your adjusted par, and then one extra point for each shot less that you take.
Colin Irwin, Adam McKeown and Chris Carville competed for Muckley in the handicapped competition, while Nathan McConnell took part in the competition for those without handicaps.
Nathan McConnell finished as runner-up in the competition for players without a handicap with a score of 44.
7th Portadown finished as the winners of the competition overall.
