After rumours of a managerial change at Knocknamuckley News of the World has got an inside interview with team hydration manager Keith "Mad Dog" Dawson.
In an interview which went on for over two hours Dawson expressed his deep regret of letting Parksy become manager and how he had ruined his " greatest team ever".
Dawson spoke of the managers lack of football knowledge and how he cost the team countless number of games due to his odd formations.
" The team was of the highest order but when the tactics and positions aren't there how do you expect to win anything. The boys ment everything to me and if I'd known they were going to leave because of the manager I would of had him out ages ago."
Dawson went on to say, " The only thing I can look back at with no regrets is taking over the reins for both finals. I believe if I didn't take over, Parksy would have yet again destroyed the boys chances of silverware."
Dawson continued," The thing that annoyed the boys most was that the manager was corrupt. He was constantly overpricing food at the recent team holiday and making them buy their shirts so he could turn a profit."
Dawson concluded the interview with talk of the managerial change. " I held a meeting with the club chairman yesterday and it seems that Parksy's time as manager has run out. In the meeting there were talks of the new manager and Thomas Chambers has came out the favourite among most board members."
